Alright, I'm going to get better at this blogging thing. Really, I promise! Anyhoo, the last few weeks have been a blur of end of semester craziness/fashion shows/family/parties/a good friend's wedding. I think I've finally adjusted to my normal life, which amounts to working full time at the flower shop suddenly and being extremely tired. But the past couple days have been nice. I've shopped a little too much, but all things I really needed, including these and these. So now I'm jumping back on this blogging train!
Yesterday I decided it was time to get creative again, so I started a little experimental draping. I'm not quite sure where it's going... but it has been fun. I'm definitely ready to start using some different fabrics seeing as how my last year has been spent buried in organza. So here is a little sneak preview of what I'm working on.
I suppose it is loosely based on this project from last summer. We'll see what happens. It's always fun to start a new project. I have a couple other ideas for summer projects which I will post about once I actually start them.
