a blog i really like

How about a little break from my necklace obsession?  Well, okay, if you insist.

both illustrations from I want to be her!

I've been looking at this adorable street style blog for a while now.  I don't really remember how I found it, but I'm certainly glad I did.  I used to read Lucky Magazine quite regularly but then it changed and sometimes I don't deal well with change.  Anyhoo, my favorite part in magazines is often the last page.  Vogue has their fancy schmancy last page with something far too expensive for me to ever even consider.  Lucky had the most adorable fashion illustration by Anne Johnston Albert.  I'm sure you've seen it.  They were just amazing.  They were all about what the then creative director of Lucky, Andrea Linnet, would be wearing for a particular season or event.  Then one day, they were GONE!  I was pretty bummed about it.  Well, then I found this site, I want to be her!  I think it's the best title, because how many times do you see a cute girl on the street and there is just insta jealousy?  I guess that happens to me a lot... Okay, but seriously.  This is a great collaboration between Andrea Linnet and fashion illustrator, Anne Johnston Albert. Posted above are a couple of my favorites.  I've noticed lately they have been mostly photographs, which are also fun.  But I just love the idea of showing street style in the form of fashion illustrations.  It just makes it a bit more magical.
